We’re currently in the process of organising an awards ceremony on behalf of a local Nottingham charity. We devised the awards last year as a way of raising the charity’s profile, whilst enabling them to recognise and reward the work done by their volunteers.

As you can imagine, we learnt a lot from organising the awards last year and have put some of the lessons learnt into practice this year. For example, we invited our ‘wish list’ of special guests way back in the summer, to make sure they’d be available for the awards in November!

The event requires us to produce everything from balloons and trophies to organising the venue and catering so it’s a refreshing change from the norm. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly on the night so we can raise a glass of champagne to the winners and toast another successful year!
